There is no need to kill a lobster humanely - their nervous systems aren't developed enough to know what's happening to them.

I like to chop them into pieces while they are still alive and watch the dismembered body parts twitch and squirm...

There's nothing inside a boiled lobster that's harmful (except maybe a little bad karma!). The dead man's fingers are just the gills and, while harmless, aren't pleasant to eat. You tossed the head? Why? Lots of good stuff in there. And did you eat the claw meat - it's not in the pics?

By the way, it's much more humane to kill your lobster first, with a broad-bladed knife through the head

You wanna cook the lobster 10 mins for the first pound and three mins for each additional. The picture looks like its under-cooked. Lobster is the best!

Wow, I envy you in the States so much! The lobsters I see in London cost over £15, (or $30) each!

I thought the complex diagrams on cutting up lobster were there to stop you eating some poisonous bit called "dead man's fingers" or something. I suppose if none of you were ill, it's ok!

Poor Kurt! I love the image of Blake carrying him into the liquor store, petting the plastic bag perhaps? It looks delicious. I want some.
