whenever we have guests, we always go to Woodford Reserve. Chef Larson is a personal friend and his food plus the ambience of the whole campus make for an incredible day.

I was just catching up with your blog and saw you have been to my neck of the woods. I've enjoyed visiting both the maker's mark distillery and Jim Beam. Maker's Mark was very nice and you should add that to the itinerary. Also next time in Louisville visit Bourbon's Bistro, they have the largest selection of bourbon in Louisville. Maybe the world. In fact me and the little lady are headed there in as soon as I'm done with this comment. Keep up the good work.

Y'all made excellent choices for your voyage of bourbon discovery. Despite being a 'transplant' I'm awfully fond of our distilling heritage here in KY -- somewhat more refined than that of my native WV. Come back anytime!
